My April Crushes

Every month, I’ll share with you the things that inspired me and made me happy! An exhibition, a discovery, film, a recipe... and our actu!
No rules, just something spontaneous and personal!

ZOUBIDA ACTU!

Exhibition at IFA Gallery, Berlin

We are so grateful to be part of ‘Diaspora Wonderland’ exhibition.
It brings together a generation of artists from Afro-Mediterranean diasporas, exploring identity, memory and belonging through the language of fashion.
The works presented share a common ground: the stories of countries left behind, family intimacy, the traces of exile, inherited know-how and the images that arise from fragmented memories.
💌 The exhibition is on view until 07.06.26

FILM

Hit the Road

Powerful, political, funny and heartbreaking.
Hit the Road (2021) is a critically acclaimed Iranian comedy-drama directed by Panah Panahi. It follows a chaotic, loving family of four navigating a tense road trip across the Iranian countryside toward the Turkish border, attempting to smuggle their eldest son out of the country, mixing bittersweet humor with deep melancholy.

FABRIC FINDING

Ace of Space

I felt in love with this graphic, very 70s’ pattern mixing checkerboard and ace of spade design! It comes in 2 colours: chocolate and strawberry.

Get in touch to co-create a piece with us with this fabric!

ZOUBIDA PIECE I’VE BEEN WEARING!

Habiba Coat

I literally lived in this piece this month. Ideal for in-between seasons.

I am only 1m54 (yes i know, not even 1m55!) and i love wearing oversized pieces. So here, i am in a size M/L!

What London has taught me: don’t be scared to clash print! Here i am wearing a pinstriped trousers, and i feel it works so much!
